Ian Schlagel

Research Assistant

Ian Schlagel is a research assistant at the Free Market Institute and a Ph.D. student in the Department of Agricultural and Applied Economics in the Gordon W. Davis College of Agricultural Sciences & Natural Resources at Texas Tech University.

Ian earned his B.A. in economics from Hillsdale College.

His research interests include development and monetary economics within the lens of Austrian econimcs, economic theory and econometrics.
