Ian Schlagel

Research Assistant

Ian Schlagel is a research assistant at the Free Market Institute and a Ph.D. student in the Department of Agricultural and Applied Economics. He also currently serves as a graduate instructor in the Area of Energy Commerce & Business Economics (Rawls College of Business).

Ian earned his B.A. in economics from Hillsdale College.

His research interests include development and monetary economics within the lens of Austrian economics, economic theory and econometrics.
