Amanda Smith

Administrator for Student and Public Programming

Amanda Smith is the administrator for student and public programming at the Free Market Institute.

Amanda earned her B.S. in Human Development and Family Studies from the College of Human Sciences at Texas Tech University in 2009. Prior to joining the Free Market Institute, she worked as a service provider for people with intellectual disabilities in the Lubbock community.

Amanda was co-founder and organizer for Lubbock Liberty, a local group which facilitated workshops directed toward the advancement of individual liberty and free market principles. She also worked for over 8 years in a non-profit organization dedicated to eliminating racism, empowering women, and promoting peace, justice, freedom, and dignity for all.
