About Highland Lakes and Sarah Ramos

You will find OLLI Highland Lakes in the picturesque Marble Falls, Texas. We share the Frank Fickett Education Center with the Texas Tech University Higher Education Teaching Site at Highland Lakes and Central Texas College Marble Falls. The building is a happening spot for education as it caters to everyone from high school dual-credit earners, to bachelor's degree seekers, to continuing education strivers age 50 and over. It serves as a one-stop shop for learning. OLLI Highland Lakes strives to provide 20 to 25 courses a semester ranging in a wide array of topics for its members.

Sarah Ramos joined the OLLI team as the Highland Lakes Coordinator in April of 2017. In addition to working for OLLI, she also serves on the OLLI Highland Lakes Advisory Board Curriculum Committee. She graduated from Texas Tech in 2015. She is married to a fellow Texas Tech alum and is a mom to two boys. She is also a mom to two German Shepherds, two horses and a cat. She enjoys traveling, reading and history. The closest she has ever felt to heaven was when reading British literature whilst exploring Great Britain.
