Biography
Annelise Nguyen is the Associate Dean for Research and Professor of Toxicology at Texas Tech University and a diplomate of the American Board of Toxicology. She grew up in the northeastern region of Texas. After the completion of a doctorate degree in Toxicology from Texas A&M University and a postdoctoral fellowship from the National Eye Institute, she joined the Comparative Toxicology Faculty at Kansas State University, College of Veterinary Medicine.She has nearly two decades of research experience in the field of cancer biology, focusing on the role of gap junctional intercellular communication. Recently, her work extended to the field of spheroid/organoid development, utilizing new technology of PGMatrix to recapitulate 3D human tumor-like organoids.
