Maintenance: | shows nitrogen stress (yellowish foliage) very easily withstands heavy shearing, so is often seen as a hedge or privacy screen flower buds are usually pruned when shearing, so malodorous flowers are not always a problem |
Pests & Pathology: | susceptible to a leaf spot (Entomospoium maculatum) that can defoliate plants in humid areas |
Additional Notes: | can be attractive as a small tree cross between P. glabra and P. serrulata a few cultivars are available |
