The Center for Public Service
CPS Mission Statement
The Center for Public Service (CPS) provides members of the public and nonprofit sectors in West Texas with valuable professional management training opportunities and community services to promote their learning on behalf of the Department of Political Science and Texas Tech University. The CPS strives to conduct timely relevant and high-quality research that enhances the effectiveness and professionalism of public and nonprofit organizations and makes academic contributions to the literature in public and nonprofit management. The CPS also offers opportunities for current graduate students majoring in public administration to assist in research projects and to exercise what they have learned from their program.
