Courses at the Institute for Studies in Pragmaticism

The Institute for Studies in Pragmaticism offers one undergraduate course and several graduate-level courses in research methods for interdisciplinary studies. Students in any college or branch of Texas Tech University are eligible to enroll.

Our courses follow Charles S. Peirce's interdisciplinary methodology to bridge the natural sciences and the humanities in pursuit of innovative solutions to global challenges. We make cross-disciplinary research methods accessible to emerging scholars by teaching them to navigate complex problems that resist single-discipline solutions, fostering the intellectual flexibility and collaborative skills essential for addressing contemporary scientific and social challenges.
