Research Interests
- Mitochondrial genetics
- Genetic regulation of endurance trainability
- Assessing the association and interactions between the nuclear and mitochondrial genomes with traits and diseases of interest, such as biological aging and other metabolic conditions.
Future Research Collaboration Interests
Bioinformatics and biostatistics: I would like to collaborate with someone with this expertise with an interest in developing an algorithm to determine how the nuclear and mitochondrial genomes interact with one another to determine a phenotype.
