1. Call to order:

Elissa Zellinger, Associate Professor of English and Faculty Fellow in the Office of Faculty Success

3. Approval of minutes:

- Minutes from September 09, 2026 FS meeting.

 

4. Speakers:

- Scott Hall and Chris Oglesby (Central IT) – discuss upcoming initiatives.

- Elissa Zellinger (Associate Professor of English and Faculty Fellow in the Office of Faculty Success) – discussing a new resource for early career faculty: the Writing Coaching for Early Career Faculty Program.

- Eric Walden (FS President) – discuss committee development charge to review OP 32.01, Promotion and Tenure Standards and Procedures.

- Eric Walden, FS President

·         Discuss AAU endorsement → refer it to Faculty Status & Welfare.

·         Establish AAU Faculty Resources Committee, Technology and Teaching Best Practices Committee, and     Chancellor's Memos Committee, and discuss their charge as outlined in “Committee Charges” document.

·         Send the three approved committees/charges to the Committee on Committees to find nominees.

- Faculty Grievance Panel – Eric Walden

- Faculty Status & Welfare Committee – Senator Koch
