Meet Maya

Hi, I am Maya Johnson, and I am from Austin, Texas! I am in my first year at Texas Tech and my major is Restaurant, Hotel, and Institutional Management. I am very excited to see you this summer at both Red Raider Orientation and Red Raider Camp! I'm serving as a RRO Crew Member and a RRC Counselor where I will have the opportunity to meet new Red Raiders and help you in your transition to Texas Tech!

Some of the activities that I am involved in is Greek Life and Restaurant, Hotel, and Institutional Management Association. I am a member of Delta Gamma and enjoy the sisterhood and philanthropy that we do.

I want to work for The Walt Disney Company.  Ever since I was a kid, I have been very passionate about Disney and have so many fond memories. With Disney being such a huge company, I am looking forward to the opportunity to travel and help a vast number of people.
