The purpose of the Techspo is to give students the opportunity to learn more about what their fees pay for and the services that are available to them at Texas Tech. The Techspo is a "one-stop-shop" where students can learn about the variety of resources on campus that available to help them be successful both in and out of the classroom.

Students learn about the campus resources available to them at Red Raider Orientation, but by the time they set foot on campus for their first semester they have forgotten about or missed some of the resources available to them. The Techspo is designed to help new and returning students experience the resources available to them at a time when they may need additional support in their transition. The Techspo is set up as an interactive exposition where students can not only learn about resources are available to help them, but to actually experience the programs and services offered by departments. 

The Techspo is hosted by Transition & Engagement, with collaboration between on-campus departments and various academic and non-academic support services.
