As the primary student mental health clinic on campus, the Student Counseling Center provides a safe environment for students to explore issues of concern, resolve psychological distress, and maximize their potential at Texas Tech University. Student Counseling Center Walk-In Clinic

No scheduled appointment necessary to initiate services! Walk-In to the SCC, fill out paperwork (this process takes about 30 minutes), and see a counselor for an initial intake for approximately another 30 minutes. For more details see the How To Get Started page.

Updates About Our Services (4/30/16):

It will be May 16th, 2016 before we can schedule new or returning clients for a first session following intake. We recommend the following alternatives for students who would like to begin therapy before May 16th, 2016:
