She is the founder and director of Artemis Institute, and founder of the design practice studioryker. This vision actively unfolds through her design practice, the programs she develops including Remote Studio and the urban art-activism project wildlifes. She has also written three books, published numerous essays and speaks nationally and internationally about the concepts and issues surrounding sustainability, poetic thinking, creative process, beauty, and integrity of place.
