Texas Tech University Early Head Start Program
Early Head Start, a partnership between Texas Tech University and the Lubbock Housing Authority, focuses on providing assistance to pregnant women and families with children between the ages of six weeks and three years. The program is comprehensive and serves the Estacado High School district boundaries. The program is free of charge to those who qualify.
The mission of TTU Early Head Start is to:
- Nurture and promote the physical, emotional, social, and cognitive development of infants and toddlers
- Develop and strengthen parents’ abilities as primary educators of their children and families.
- Serve as advocates for our children, parents, and families.
