Risk Intervention & Safety Education (RISE)
A message from RISE regarding COVID-19 and continued operations:
The RISE office is completely remote and operating online during the extended Spring Break and throughout the period of online course delivery. RISE can be reached during regular business hours (Monday - Friday, from 8:00 am - 5:00 pm) at 806.742.2110 or by email at RISE@ttu.edu. Please understand that RISE may be short-staffed and it may take longer than usual to have your phone call returned or email answered. Visit our social media (@TTURISE) for updates about canceled events and our COVID-19 prevention site for more information.
The Crisis HelpLine (806.742.5555) is still operational 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, no matter if you are physically in Lubbock or somewhere else. If you have requested a RISE workshop, or would like to request a workshop, RISE is offering online workshops via a link that you can send to participants. For more information, email us at RISE@ttu.edu.
If you are a Raider Restart participant, or need complete any other Office of Student Conduct sanction facilitated by the RISE Office, we are available to facilitate those requirements online. Please contact RaiderRestart@ttu.edu for details or be responsive to your TTU email for instructions.
Please regularly check the Texas Tech University COVID-19 website where you can find the latest updates and communications to the University community, including answers to frequently asked questions and office contact information for more specific questions. For more information about prevention during the COVID-19 pandemic, visit the RISE COVID-19 website.
Texas Tech is committed to the well-being of all Red Raiders. This goal is best achieved when we all play a part in creating a community of care for our fellow Red Raiders and a campus climate that is welcoming. Safety and wellness are shared responsibilities of students, faculty, and staff on our campus. When we say "I am a Red Raider!" we are committing to being part of the TTU Family.
