The STEM CORE Mission is to serve as a cross-college organizational structure that integrates, deepens, and extends the scope, nature, and ultimately, the impact of STEM education, outreach, research, training, and professional development at Texas Tech University.

The STEM-CORE seeks to act as a university-level resource that facilitates collaborative, cross-college, and cross-organization STEM education, outreach, research, training, and professional development initiatives at all levels of education.
STEM CORE Overview
The Science, Technology, Engineering & Mathematics Center for Outreach, Research & Education (STEM CORE) serves Texas Tech faculty members in the development and implementation of a broad range of STEM-area initiatives. By design, the STEM CORE is a collaborative enterprise with oversight and support from the following six colleges:

- College of Arts & Sciences
- College of Education
- College of Human Sciences
- Edward E. Whitacre Jr. College of Engineering
