Value Statements

Teamwork.
We believe in a team approach to delivering our programs and services. Because we work as a team, we feel supported and have more resources at our disposal. Our "titles" do not direct our roles when it comes to delivering programs and services to our students. We are in this together!

Collaboration.
We believe in building relationships across departments and divisions. We commit to working collaboratively with faculty, staff, and administrators who offer their expertise to our staff and the students whom we serve. This level of collaboration requires support for one another, a willingness to do whatever it takes, and hearty celebration of successes.

Service.
We value serving the needs of our students in the highly consumer orientated environment of the college search process. Excellent customer service is our top priority. We strive to create a satisfying experience for our "customers." We believe it is the responsibility of every staff member to present a positive image of the university at all times. The student comes first, and how we treat people is more important than anything else.

Innovation.
We commit to being innovative. When opportunities or challenges arise, we believe solutions exist, take risks to find answers, think "outside the box," are willing to fail, persevere to the end and remain optimistic.

Excellence.
We commit to creating and adhering to high standards of excellence. We pride ourselves on being knowledgeable about all aspects of campus. We want students confident in their choice to attend Texas Tech University; we want students to be confident in us and our ability to serve them.
