University ID/Raider Card

Your All-In-One ID Card

Raider Card makes purchasing anything from blue books to computer media storage and accessories even faster. It's easy to use Raider Card—unlike a credit card, you cannot spend more than is deposited. Once you deposit money into your account, you may use it to make purchases on the Texas Tech campus and select off-campus locations. Visit the Use Your ID Card page for an up-to-date list of all vendors.

University ID

When enrolling in the University, you get your first ID Card free. All replacement IDs cost $10.00. You may also invalidate a lost card from this website (click on the "Report Lost ID" tab).

Raider Card Stored Value Account

Raider Card is a pre-paid stored value account designed for your convenience. Unlike a credit card, you cannot spend money until you have deposited money in the account. We accept cash, checks, Visa, Mastercard, Discover, and American Express.

Dining Bucks

You can add-on to your dining plan or check transactions and balance from here. To change your dining plan to another level, you must stop by the Housing office in Doak Hall or the University ID Office Room 104 Student Union (this can only be completed within the first 12 class days of the semester). Dining Bucks remain in the student's account as long as the student is enrolled. Unused funds roll over to the next semester so long as the student has signed a contract to live in on-campus housing during the next semester.

PLEASE NOTE: Parents cannot access student information unless the student gives permission. The student can grant access when they log into "Manage Your Account/Grant Guest Access".

Faculty/Staff/Student Commuter Plan

Must be paid for at time of purchase.

Commuter Basic – 149 Dining Bucks for $149. Offers a 10% discount at the all you care to eat locations and a 7% discount at all other Hospitality Service locations.
Commuter Plus – 269 Dining Bucks for $269. Offers a 12% discount at the all you care to eat locations and a 10% discount at all other Hospitality Service locations.
Commuter Advantage - 399 Dining Bucks for $399. Offers 15% at the all you care to eat locations and a 13% discount at all other Hospitality Service Locations.
