MAJ Kime BIO

                Major Justin Kime enlisted in the Army in February 1998 as an Infantryman.  He joined the Texas Army National Guard in 2002 and has served in the US Army Reserve since 2004.  Major Kime was Direct Commissioned in 2009.  His military education includes the first three levels of the Non-Commissioned Officers education system, Engineer Officer Basic Course, Quartermaster Captains Career Course, Basic Airborne Course, and the Civil Affairs Qualification Course.  He holds Bachelor's degrees in Business Administration and Business Management from Texas Tech University. 

                Major Kime has served in a number of operational assignments during his career, to include Civil Affairs Team Chief, Company Commander, Battalion Executive Officer, and Battalion Plans and Operations Officer.  Prior to being assigned to Texas Tech ROTC, he primarily served in the 413th Civil Affairs Battalion where he works full time as a DOD Civilian. 

                Major Kime's deployments include Operation Iraqi Freedom- Baghdad, Iraq from November 2006 to November 2007, Operation Enduring Freedom, eastern Afghanistan from October 2010 to September 2011, and Beyond the Horizons-Guatemala 2016.  His military decorations include the Bronze Star Medal, the Meritorious Service Medal, the Army Commendation Medal, the Army Achievement Medal, the Combat Action Badge, the Expert Infantry Badge, and the Parachutist Badge.

                Major Kime has been married to his wife, Landi, since 2003 and has two children.
