MAJ Patrice Conyers

Major Patrice N. Conyers enlisted in the United States Army Reserves in May 2005 as an Information Technology Specialist (25B). In 2009, she received a direct commission into the United States Army Signal Corps. Her military education includes Signal Corps Basic Officer Leaders Course, Signal Captains Career Course, and the Command and General Staff College at Fort Leavenworth, KS. Additionally, she holds a Bachelor of Arts in Media Arts from the University of South Carolina.

Major Conyers began her officer career as a United States Army Reserve Troop Program (TPU) Soldier. As a TPU, she served as a Platoon Leader for the 311th Signal Command (Theater) Support Unit in Costa Mesa, CA; Aid-de-Camp for the Deputy Commanding General of the 311th Signal Command (Theater) in Fort Shafter, Hawaii; and assumed Company Command of Charlie Company, 98th Expeditionary Signal Battalion in San Diego, CA. In 2015, Major Conyers began her United States Army Reserve Active Guard Reserve tour with the 311th Signal Command (Theater) in Fort Shafter, Hawaii. Under the 311th Signal Command (Theater), she served as the Current Operations Officer, Communication Services Chief, and Plans Officer. From 2018 to 2021, she served as the Operations Officer (S2/S3) for the 392nd Expeditionary Signal Battalion in Baltimore, MD. Her current duty is the Assistant Professor of Military Science / Executive Officer for the Texas Tech University Reserve Officer Training Corps.

Major Conyers' awards include the Meritorious Service Medal, Army Good Conduct Medal, Army Reserve Component Achievement Medal, National Defense Service Medal, Global War on Terrorism Expeditionary Medal, Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, Army Service Ribbon, Overseas Service Ribbon, Armed Forces Reserve Medal, with "M" Device, and the Army Commendation Medal.
