Stephanny obtained her master's degree in Immunology and Infection in 2017. Since then, she has become a Flow Cytometry technologist who can perform all aspects of flow cytometry testing and analysis including: daily quality control, monthly instrument maintenance, instrumentation troubleshooting, and fine-tuning gating techniques.
Specialties:
Experienced with the BD FACS Canto A and II multicolor Flow Cytometer as well as developing experimental panel designs from scratch, high parameter analysis, and isolation and detection of cellular populations.
Experienced with the Luminex Aminis ImageStream Imaging Flow Cytometer which combines the speed, sensitivity, and phenotyping abilities of flow cytometry with the detailed imagery and functional insights of microscopy.
Experienced with both light and fluorescent microscopy for immunohistochemistry along with ImageJ software and GraphPad Prism.
Working towards becoming an ISAC certified cytometrist by obtaining the Specialist in Cytometry (SYCM) credentials.
