Mario Andrés Castañeda Villarreal 

Biography

I was born in Guadalajara, Mexico, in 1999. I'm a Chemical engineering graduate from the University of Guadalajara. I obtained my B.S. in 2022. I have work experience in health safety and environment, operation of wastewater treatment plants, and regulatory affairs of pharmaceutical veterinary products. I have worked in international companies like Henkel, Ingredion, and Virbac. In 2026 I joined Texas Tech University as a graduate student and also joined Dr. Danny Reible's research group. I'm currently pursuing a PhD in Chemical engineering.
