Biography

I was born and grew up in Mymensingh, a city located in the central-north part of Bangladesh. I completed my B.Sc. in Civil Engineering in 2014 and finished my M.Sc. in Civil and Environmental Engineering in 2018 from the Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET). In 2015, after my graduation, I joined the Institute of Water and Flood Management (IWFM) of BUET as a Lecturer and later promoted to an Assistant Professor in 2018. I started my doctoral studies in Environmental Engineering at Texas Tech University in Fall 2020 and joined the Reible Research Group in January 2021. In my M.Sc. research, my main focus was modeling the quality of surface water. My major research area is bioaccumulation and the fate and transport of organic contaminants.
