Dynamic Fragility of Glass Forming Materials: Rheological and Calorimetric Determinations
Astrid Torres-Arellano
The current work is based on studying the dynamic fragility of glass-forming materials via rheological (ARES rheometer) and calorimetric (DSC) methods. From the rheology studies, we obtain the information of the α -segmental relaxation of the glass forming materials. While from the calorimetry studies, the dynamic fragility is obtained from the Tg dependence on cooling rate. Alongside, the effect of a wash-precipitation treatment on the glass forming materials is investigated.
