Society of Plastics Engineers (SPE) - TTU Chapter

Welcome to the TTU SPE homepage! The Society of Plastics Engineers is the largest professional society for the plastics industry in the world. SPE encourages activities for students and professionals to network, share their knowledge, and advance their careers.

At Texas Tech, the student chapter provides a platform for the students to connect and have fun. The chapter organizes seminars, guest speaker talks, poster/paper competitions, social events, hiking trips, and so on.

Purpose

The goal is to build a strong network between chemical engineering graduate and undergraduate students and students of other majors working in the field of plastics/polymers/soft matter. This forum will help students find job opportunities, communicate with professionals in industry and academia, and engage in fun activities to keep them fresh and motivated in their research and education.
