REMINDER: Blackboard SafeAssign Tool

Do you want to keep your students from plagiarizing? Use SafeAssign in Blackboard. SafeAssign can be used within the assignment tool in Blackboard. SafeAssign is the tool that has officially REPLACED Turnitin; which was previously used to check for plagiarism.

Howard College and Texas Tech Sign New Agreement

The Office of Academic Partnerships and the College of Education work together to continue growing the partnership with Howard College. The memorandum of understanding between the colleges was signed last year and the TechTeach agreement marks the first of many more collaborations between these institutions.

South Plains College and Texas Tech Sign New Memorandum of Understanding

Texas Tech University and South Plains College officially signed a memorandum of understanding for a new concurrent enrollment/alternative admissions program. This program allows for a unique transfer experience for students not traditionally admitted to TTU to take courses at both institutions, culminating in full admission to the college of their choice at Texas Tech.

Robert González Elected to Second Vice President Position

Robert González faced robust competition during his campaign, but ultimately triumphed and was elected to the Second Vice President position of the ACSA.

Senate & Legislative Ladies Tour Fredericksburg

The Texas Tech University System hosted the Senate & Legislative Ladies Club in Fredericksburg to showcase some of its noteworthy programs and the opportunities afforded to students. Read about the work being done at the regional site.

TTU at Waco Hosts Second Chords and Conversations Event

Similarly to last year, Chords and Conversations was a huge success that benefited both TTU at Waco students and the local Waco community. The event featured plenty of entertainment and opportunity for students to connect with alumni.

TTU at Waco Hosts Inaugural Ring Ceremony

Graduating seniors from TTU at Waco were treated to the regional site's first ever Ring Ceremony. The ceremony offered students the opportunity to be recognized for their accomplishment while remaining in their city.
