International Conference on Eating Disorders 2025- San Antonio

Jennifer and Baiyu attended the International Conference on Eating Disorders in San Antonio with Dr. Melissa Munn-Chernoff. There, they supported collaborator Alex Shrode, RD in her presentation on the prevalence of eating disorders in Collegiate Recovery Programs.

McKenzie Lectureship Series:​ Addiction, Recovery, and Families

The CEDAR Lab and many of our collaborators from the Addictive Disorders and Recovery Studies (ADRS) program ​and the Center for Students in Addiction Recovery presented research at the McKenzie Lectureship Series on April 3rd and 4th.

Exciting things are happening for lab member, Trinity Criner.  She has been hard at work!

Trinity was accepted to the Mortar Board - Forum Chapter at Texas Tech University. Mortar Board is a nationwide senior honors society, upholding the values of scholarship, leadership, and service. To be selected as a member is to be recognized as one of the top 0.2% of seniors at Texas Tech.

​​​She will also be presenting her CEDAR lab project poster at the 2025 Texas Tech University Undergraduate Research Conference. Session: D - Wed. April 2, 1:00 PM, TTU Museum Sculpture Garden.

Trinity being accepted into Mortar Board- Forum Chapter

We received the inaugural Sarah Kyle Anorexia Nervosa Research Foundation (SKANRF) grant to support our research on DNA methylation in anorexia nervosa!

Latest Update (December 2, 2024)Teams from Texas Tech University (CEDAR Lab), Vanderbilt University Medical Center, and the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill received the first-ever Phase 1 grant!
