Epson Education Exchange in Japan

Epson is exploring new directions in classroom technology, and recently partnered with premier Japanese higher education institutions for an early look at how modern classrooms are evolving. Our own Andrew Bevly, Managing Director of Learning Technologies, was selected to represent Texas Tech as part of this group - an experience he described as "magnificent."

Each day included presentations and roundtable discussions with Epson's R&D teams and global peers, focused on sustainable print and AV technology that can scale across a large campus infrastructure. Beyond the technology itself, Andrew was immersed in Japanese culture and gained insight into how modern classrooms are being built, projected, and shared to bridge the gap between remote and in-person learning.

  

By engaging in these conversations and sharing how TTU approaches scalable AV design and digital content delivery, we help ensure our institution stays connected to where educational technology is heading. 

 

Andrew can now bring these insights, technologies, and strategies back to Texas Tech to help guide the university on creating more effective classroom experiences for students and faculty.
