Welcome Orientation

Arriving in a country you’ve never visited before is both exciting and eye-opening. From the moment you step off the airplane, you’re aware of the differences: in the sounds you hear, the smells, the sights, and the people. This is what you came for!

At Texas Tech-Costa Rica, you will have a day to explore and rest a little before our one-day, on-site orientation session. Orientation should answer most of your questions about the program you are joining and what your days will look like.

Some things that we talk about in the orientation session are: 

• Safety 
• Health insurance
• Center Rules
• Excursions
• Local Transportation
• Etc. 

At the Orientation Session, there will be a lunch provided for the students to mingle and interact with their fellow classmates. Don’t miss it!
