Previously known as the Scholastic Aptitude Test, this is an examination administered by the Educational Testing Service (ETS) and used to predict the facility with which an individual will progress in learning college-level academic subjects.

Scholastic Assessment Test. An examination administered by the Educational Testing Service and used to predict the facility with which an individual will progress in learning college-level academic subjects. A student who meets CB standards on designated section(s) of the SAT is exempt from the requirements of the Texas Success Initiative (TSI) for the related section(s). (CBM002)
