Texas Tech University

Faculty

The Institute for Sustainability and Circular Economy (ISCE) supports faculty from several disciplines and colleges across Texas Tech to enhance the quality of online courses. All ISCE associated faculty are committed to the vision and goals of ISCE.

ISCE is a multi-disciplinary insitute, and as such, our associated researchers come from many different departments across campus. You can visit ISCE Headquarters in the Maddox Engineering Research Center, in room 209.

Institute Faculty

Our ISCE Faculty are scholars who hold formal appointments within the Institute and play an integral role in advancing its mission. They represent a diverse range of disciplines and bring expertise in research, education, innovation, and interdisciplinary collaboration.

Institute Faculty lead and contribute to research initiatives, mentor students and emerging researchers, develop new partnerships, and help shape the strategic direction of the Institute. Through their work, they connect academic discovery with real-world challenges and create opportunities for collaboration across disciplines, departments, institutions, and industry.

Together, our ISCE Faculty form the core academic community of the Institute, working to advance innovative research and develop solutions that address complex challenges and create meaningful impact.

 Affiliated Faculty

Our Affiliated Faculty are faculty members and researchers from across the university who collaborate with the Institute through shared research interests, projects, programs, and initiatives. While they are housed in other departments across campus, they are valued partners whose expertise strengthens and expands our interdisciplinary community.

Affiliated Faculty contribute to the Institute in many ways, including collaborative research, student mentorship, educational activities, publications, and partnerships with academic, government, and industry organizations. Their unique perspectives and specialized expertise help foster connections across disciplines and create new opportunities for innovation and discovery.

Through these collaborations, Affiliated Faculty extend the Institute’s reach and help build a broader network of researchers working together to address complex challenges and advance impactful solutions.
