ISCE Vision

The National Research Council define sustainability as "improving society's capacity to use the earth in ways that simultaneuosly meet future needs, sustain the life support systems of the planet, and substantially reduce poverty." The Insitute seeks to encompass sustainability while breaking the cycle of pollution. 

Our Vision

The vision of the Institute of Sustainability and Circular Economy (ISCE) is to:

become the world leader in developing solutions to major society problems while integrating sustainability, resiliency, and circular economy practices.

This vision transcends to different systems encompassing food, energy, water, and healthcare.

Addressing sustainability requires a systems level approach which combines convergence research, education and workforce development, a culture of diversity, and includsion for deep collaboration among different stakeholders, and a vibrant innovation ecosystem.
