M.B.A./Master of Science in Sport Management
Purpose and Background
The Graduate School in association with the Rawls College of Business Administration and Department of Kinesiology and Sport Management offers a dual-degree program that enables a student to earn both the Master of Business Administration (MBA) and Master of Science in Sport Management (MS) degrees in two years of concentrated study. Courses may be completed in any order. This combination of degrees will aid students interested in becoming athletic directors or senior administrators of collegiate or professional sport programs.
Structure of the Program
The MBA, which is only offered online, requires 42 credit hours, while the MS in Sport Management requires 30 credit hours. Electives (9 hours in each degree) count for both degrees, so students can complete both degrees in two years of concentrated study.
