Sean Yancey, Ph.D.
Biography
I am from the Flint Hills of Kansas and grew up close to the rural town of Alma, Kansas. I attended Kansas State University where I obtained my bachelors degree in Wildlife Biology. Upon graduation in May 2007 I accepted a position as a hunting guide on a private ranch in South Texas. While there I guided hunts and used different habitat manipulation techniques for the betterment of wildlife. In August 2013 I obtained my Masters degree from Texas Tech University studying the effects of patch burning-grazing on grassland birds under the guidance of Dr. Brad Dabbert. I am currently studying the effects of translocating northern bobwhite quail and scaled quail from South Texas to the Rolling Plains.
