The Wrecking Crew and James Bond
Join Larry Hess as he shares two of his shorter pop music history talks. “The Wrecking Crew” is the story of the L.A. studio musicians who played on all of your favorite '60s pop and rock records. “Bond – James Bond,” goes over the making of “Dr. No” which started the 007 film franchise. Set on the island, the soundtrack features the music of Jamaica and Jamaican musicians.
Instructor Larry Hess is a popular music history educator with over 30 years of experience performing with symphony orchestras, musical theatre productions, and several other groups.
