OLLI at TTU, Abilene Fall Kickoff

The Osher Lifelong Learning Institute at TTU, Abilene will be hosting their kickoff event for the Fall 2019 semester on August 27, 2019 from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Several local experts in their chosen profession or area of personal interest have agreed to be instructors for the OLLI program. Some instructors have graciously volunteered to be on-hand at the event providing "sneak previews" of their upcoming classes by discussing with participants what they have planned for the upcoming semester. Guests will have an opportunity to meet new OLLI Coordinator Misha Price, as well as OLLI Advisory Board members. The kickoff event gives people a fun opportunity to enroll for OLLI memberships and sign up for any – or all – of the upcoming course offerings. This free come-and-go event will be at the Community Foundation of Abilene, 850 N. First St. Participants will also be able to enjoy hors d'oeuvres and beverages provided by the OLLI at TTU, Abilene Advisory Board members.
