You’ll walk from one campus partner station to the next, creating opportunities for meaningful, one-on-one conversations along the way. With each department spaced throughout the walk, you’ll have the chance to ask questions in a more comfortable, private setting while learning about the many resources available to support student well-being. Whether you’re new to campus or returning for a visit, this is a great opportunity to connect with the people and programs dedicated to helping Red Raiders thrive.

College of Education Family Weekend

The 2026 College of Education Family Weekend experience will invite students and their families to spend time together in the College of Education through a casual, come-and-go courtyard gathering. The courtyard will serve as the primary gathering space with food, outdoor games, a family keepsake activity, seating, and opportunities to connect informally with College of Education faculty, staff, and students. Rather than following scheduled activities or classroom rotations, families will be encouraged to experience the event at their own pace. Students can introduce their families to the people who are part of their college experience, enjoy activities together, and explore the College of Education building and spaces that are meaningful to them.

Kick off Texas Tech Family Weekend with the Texas Tech Parents Association at our Family Weekend Kickoff Dinner!  This come-and-go dinner will feature beef and chicken fajitas, special guests, and a fun photo booth to capture memories with your Red Raider!

All attendees over the age of three must have a dinner ticket. This popular event will sell out, so don’t delay—purchase your tickets early!

Get ready for one of the highlights of Family Weekend! Join the Texas Tech Parents Association for our annual Family Weekend Tailgate before cheering on the Red Raiders! ❤️🖤🏈

This year, we’ll be serving up delicious BBQ while families enjoy the excitement and atmosphere of Raider Alley before kickoff. Tailgate-Only, complete Saturday Packages, and VIP packages available.Tickets are required for all attendees over the age of three.

Join us for the CoMC Alumni & Family Tailgate on Saturday, Sept. 26, before Texas Tech takes on Sam Houston! Students & families are invited to enjoy the game-day atmosphere on the CoMC South Lawn. Tickets are just $5 and include admission, a CoMC car decal and a live broadcast of the game. Mijo’s food truck and alcoholic beverages for guests 21+ will also be available for purchase. Tailgate time will be announced once game kick-off is set. Tickets may be purchased day of or click the link to purchase your tickets early, and come spend game day with the CoMC community!
