Donors Make It Possible

 

The TTU Skyview Observatory would not have been this excellent resource for our campus and local community if it were not for the generous support and commitment to education of the following donors:

PI Dr. Vallia Antoniou was the recipient of the 2021 Excellence Grant "Night Sky For All". The $10,000 awarded amount allowed the purchase of two top-notch CMOS cameras (SBIG STC-428-P), which replaced two discontinued CCDs (SBIG ST-402) used in the past. Due to production and shipping delays related to COVID, the cameras will be in use at the TTU Skyview Observatory starting in Fall 2022.
