Medical College Admissions Test (MCAT) – Also used by schools of podiatry
- AAMC Fee Assistance Program (If eligible, students test prep resources in addition to a reduction of exam cost.)
Acuity Insights (CASPer and Duet) – May be required by some medical schools
Jove (access provided by TTU Libraries)
Khan Academy has free test prep resources designed for the MCAT.
Nursing School Exam Information
TEAS: Effective for the Summer 2020 application cycle and beyond, the TTUHSC School of Nursing Traditional BSN program no longer requires completion of the TEAS. If another school of nursing you are interested in requires the TEAS, featured products and preparation guides can be found at the Assessment Technology Institute (ATI) web store.
HESI: Some schools of nursing require/accept the HESI. More information can be found here.
Occupational Therapy School Exam Information
Graduate Record Examinations (GRE) – The TTUHSC School of Health Professions Doctor of Occupational Therapy Program does not require the GRE. However, it is possible that other OT programs may require the GRE. Be sure to check the requirements for each of your programs of interest.

Pharmacy School Exam Information
The Pharmacy College Admission Test (PCAT®) was retired on January 10, 2024. No PCAT testing dates will be offered during the 2024–2025 admissions cycle or beyond. All test takers may continue to request Official Transcripts and Personal Score Reports through the Pearson website until December 2024.
