CS Peirce Interdisciplinary Professorship Endowment Charles Sanders Peirce Interdisciplinary Professorship Endowment was founded to support the Peirce Interdisciplinary Professorship.
Berti Gabriella and Kenneth Laine Ketner Endowment
Berti Gabriella and Kenneth Laine Ketner Endowment Berti and Kenneth Ketner have dedicated their life's work to the Lubbock Community and to Texas Tech. As co-founder, Director of the Institute and P. W. Horn Professor, Kenneth L. Ketner has pioneered research on Peirce's work nationally and internationally. His works include His Glassy Essence: An Autobiography of Charles Sanders Peirce, A Thief of Peirce: The Correspondence of Kenneth Laine Ketner and Walker Percy, and Reasoning and the Logic of Things, Peirce's 1898 lectures (edited with Hilary Putnam, including commentaries).

Berti Gabriella and Kenneth Laine Ketner Endowment was founded to support the Peirce Interdisciplinary Professorship.
Fran and O.V. Scott Endowment for The Institute for Studies in Pragmaticism
Fran and O.V. Scot Endowment Fran Scott was a graduate of Cornell University, and earned a Masters Degree in Philosophy and an Ph.D in Fine Arts from Texas Tech. She taught in the Philosophy department as a professor at Texas Tech and was a dedicated Peirce Scholar and Institute Member. She wrote Life as a Laboratory (Peirce Studies number seven), an examination of Peirce's System of Science from the standpoint of Fine Arts.

Fran and O.V. Scott Endowment for the Institute for Studies in Pragmaticism was founded to support the Peirce Interdisciplinary Professorship.
Claude V. Bridges Memorial Endowment
Claude V. Bridges Memorial Endowment Claude V. Bridges was a dedicated young Peirce scholar and a graduate student at the Institute for Studies in Pragmaticism. Claude deeply believed in the importance of the Institute's mission to serve Peirce studies and also had the talent to convince donors to commit to the Institute's vision. The endowment was established after his tragic death, to keep his example of aspiration and love for scientific truth as an inspirational source for young researchers.

The purpose of the endowment is to support research and publication projects as well as evolving needs of the Institute for Studies in Pragmaticism.
Charles Sidney Hardwick Memorial Peirce Studies Endowment
Charles Sidney Hardwick Memorial Peirce Studies Endowment Charles S. Hardwick was the co-founder of the Institute; he received his BA and MA from Texas Tech University and his PHD in Philosophy from The University of Texas at Austin. He served as chairman of the Philosophy Department and Vice-President for Academic Affairs at Texas Tech University. He edited a volume of correspondence between Peirce and Victoria Lady Welby: Semiotic and Significs, Peirce Studies number eight.

With the Hardwick Fellowship the Institute supports graduate students in the important phase of their research project.
