Online Tutoring with Brainfuse

The Learning Center is excited to expand academic support for undergraduate students with a new resource: 24/7 online tutoring through Brainfuse.

This on-demand tutoring option complements the Learning Center’s peer tutoring and Supplemental Instruction services, providing students with added flexibility to access support outside of regular business hours.  Whether you’re working through an assignment, reviewing a key concept, or preparing for an exam, Brainfuse tutors are available anytime, day or night.

Eligibility

Who can use Brainfuse?

Brainfuse is available through a pilot program for undergraduate students enrolled in courses offering Peer Tutoring through the Learning Center.

This includes students enrolled in:
• Face-to-face sections
• Distance sections
• Honors sections

Courses associated with Costa Rica sections are not included in the pilot.

How do I know if I have access?

Students who qualify will automatically see the Learning Center course in RaiderCanvas.

If the Learning Center course appears in your RaiderCanvas dashboard, you have access to Brainfuse.

How many tutoring hours do I get?

Students with access can use up to five total hours of Brainfuse tutoring per semester. These hours can be used at any time throughout the semester.

Feedback and Questions

Since Brainfuse is part of a pilot program, we’d love to hear about your experience. We’ll check in later this semester to invite your feedback, which will help us continue to improve and expand academic support for students through the Learning Center.

If you have any questions or issues accessing your account, please contact Sabrina Herrera.
