Addison Johnson
Addison serves as a social media student assistant for Raider Relief - Advocacy and Resource Center. She is currently a junior pursuing a bachelors degree in Digital Media and Professional Communications. Addison engages with students through making content and designing graphic communications for print and online. Outside of her professional work she enjoys exploring new places, spending time with family and friends, and meeting new people while learning about their cultural backgrounds.
Ashley Collet
Ashley is a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) with a strong commitment to promoting mental health and well-being. A graduate of Arizona State University, Ashley is currently advancing her expertise as a third-year doctoral student in Couples, Marriage, and Family Therapy at Texas Tech University. Ashley's academic journey and practical experience are complemented by her passion for advocacy, education, and supporting vulnerable populations. Beyond her professional life, Ashley enjoys reading and traveling, constantly seeking new knowledge and experiences that inform her work and broaden her perspective.
Bunmi Olopade
Bunmi Olopade joined the Red Raider Food Pantry in February of 2022. She obtained a Master of Science degree in Food Microbiology from Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University, Bauchi, Nigeria in 2010. She is currently a graduate student pursuing a Ph.D in Environmental Toxicology at the Institute of Human and Environmental Health (TIEHH), Texas Tech University, Lubbock. Some of her personal hobbies include baking, cooking, running, and playing board games.
Jacob Tacker
Jacob Tacker joined Raider Red's Food Pantry in February 2025. He transferred to Tech in Fall 2023 and is a graduating senior receiving a Bachelor of General Studies in Spanish, French, and International Studies. Jacob has been an Ambassador for the pantry since September 2024; he is passionate about multiculturalism in non-profit work and law. In his free time he spends time with his loved ones and is active in student involvement.
Kolawole David Adeyemi
Kolawole David Adeyemi joined the Raider Red Food Pantry as a Research Assistant in 2024. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Nutrition and Dietetics from the Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta, Nigeria, followed by a Master of Science in Nutritional Sciences from Texas Tech University. Currently, he is pursuing a Ph.D. in Nutritional Sciences, focusing on food insecurity, food environments, and non-communicable diseases. In his free time, he enjoys playing soccer, watching soccer matches, and exploring documentaries.
Kylah Masterson
Kylah Masterson joined the Former Foster Youth Program team in April 2024. She is from Clovis, New Mexico and holds a Bachelors degree in Psychology & Sociology from Eastern New Mexico University. She is currently a graduate student pursuing a degree in social work here at Texas Tech, with plans to provide support for children and adolescents in the future. In her free time, she enjoys crocheting, playing video games, and reading.
Matthew Nunez
Matthew is from Florida and earned a bachelor's degree in psychology from Brigham Young University. He is currently a master's student in the Couple, Marriage, and Family Therapy program. Matthew is passionate about working with multicultural and ethnically diverse families, and also aims to become a professor with the goal of lowering achievement gaps. In his free time he enjoy's exercising, cooking, and playing guitar.
Mikaela D'onofrio-Cantu
Mikaela DOnofrio-Cantu joined the Fostering The Future Program as a Student Assistant in Spring of 2024. She is a first-generation student from Phoenix, Arizona. She is currently a Junior pursuing a degree in Social Work. Mikaela assists with creating events and reaching out to Student with experience being in foster care or adopted who are at Tech. She hopes to provide resources and support to these students at Tech. She enjoys reading, spending time with friends, and photography.
Natalia De Paz
Natalia De Paz joined Raider Red's Food Pantry in August of 2024. Natalia is from Abernathy Texas and is a sophmore pursuing a bachelor's degree in Wildlife Biology at the Davis College of Agriculture Sciences and Natural Resources, Texas Tech university. Some of her hobbies include crocheting, reading, biking, and playing pickleball with her friends.
Richard Nana Gyau Amoah
Richard Nana Gyau Amoah is from Accra, Ghana. He holds a bachelors degree in Insurance with Actuarial Science and a Master of Science degree in International Business. He has a corporate background in telecommunication value added services. He has volunteered in various roles with several organizations assisting needy children and children with physical and intellectual disabilities. He is currently in the Master of Social Work program at Texas Tech and intends to work with adolescents with special needs. He loves to read, cook and travel in his spare time.
Michael Del Rio
Michael Del Rio joined the Red Raider Food Pantry in August 2024. Transferring from University of Texas Rio Grande Valley, Michael is a first-year student pursuing his bachelor's degree in architecture at the Huckabee College of Architecture. If he's not at work or studying, you can catch him working out, playing videos games, hanging out with friends, or exploring campus.
