The Office of Export and Security Compliance has the following training and resources available to all faculty, staff, and students to assist with compliance with the federal export control regulations. 

Citi Training

* It is required that all participants on a controlled project with a Technology Control Plan (TCP) provide a copy of the certificate of completion to OESC on an annual basis. 

  • New Users
    • Register ->
    • Select Your Organization Affiliation ->
    • Texas Tech University ->
    • Create Citi Program account ->
    • Complete registration.
    • Add Courses
    • Question 1: Select “Not at this Time” -> 
    • Question 2: Select “Not at this Time” ->
    • Question 3: Select “Yes” ->
    • Question 4: Select “Not at this Time” ->
    • Questions 5-7: Skip ->
    • Question 8: Select “Not at this time”.
    • You should now have access to take Export Compliance Stage 1.
  • Returning Users

    • Scroll down to Completed Courses
    • On Export Compliance (EC) Stage 1 select “Review Course”
    • Scroll down to Required Modules ->
    • Find Introduction to Export Compliance and Select “Review” ->
    • Select an option to review the course material either “Choose Audi-Visual” or “Choose Classic”
    • Once you have completed reviewing the material, select “Take the Quiz”.
    • Once you have completed the Quiz, you will need to go to the “My Records” Tab on your user profile.
    • Find the Export Controls Stage 1 and Select View-Print-Share ->
    • Select “View/Print” under Completion Report.  
    • On Page 2 it will show your most recent attempt/score. This is what will need to be sent to OESC to verify you have completed the annual Export Compliance course.
