SI Leader - CHEM 3306 (Organic Chemistry II)

Vishal is one of the SI Leaders for CHEM 3306 - Organic Chemistry II. Vishal joined the SI team during the spring 2022 semester. He is a chemistry major from Irving, TX.

Why did you decide to become an SI Leader?

I choose to be a part of SI because it gives me the opportunity to help my fellow undergrads with Organic Chemistry whiile also development my own personal and professional skills.

Name a fun fact (or two) about yourself.

I ran a half-marathon in high school. I am planning to run the 5K this year in April. I have lived in three different countries (India, Cyprus, United States).

Name something on your bucket list.

I have always wanted to learn to play guitar and drums but have never managed to find the time or motivation. They're on my bucket list because I enjoy listing to music, however, I can't sing (at least in public) so I would like to learn some instruments so I can feel more connected to the music I listen to.

What do you hope to do when you graduate?

I hope to study medicine when I graduate!
