Meet Damian

Hello, fellow Raiders of the Red! My name is Damian Ramirez, and I am on the Pre-Med route, pursuing a career as a physician. I am a fan of all things fitness, whether football, calisthenics, weightlifting, running, swimming, or even rock climbing. But I'm no jock, and I love talking about Marvel, Star Wars, anime, video games, and other topics of fiction.

During my time at Texas Tech, I joined the Kinesiology & Sport Management Ambassadors. As part of this group, we represent our department at various events, conduct tours of the department, campus, and city, and volunteer wherever we are able to as a team. The American Medical Student Association (AMSA) Tech chapter is another great organization where we learn what it takes to get into post-undergraduate medical programs, and how to succeed as a student. AMSA also has events that we can participate in all throughout Lubbock to help us gain experience and build our resume. Additionally, I'm a member of the Catholic Student Association, which hosts volunteering activities as well as social events centered around having fun, making friends, and learning about the Lord’s teachings.
