Deepa Kale

Meet Deepa

Hi Red Raiders! My Name is Deepa Kale, I am freshman here at TTU. Currently I am in the Whitacre college of Engineering, and in the process of getting my undergraduate Degree in Computer Science. In my spare time I love to read, swim and go out with friends. 

My proudest moment at Texas Tech was when I received my acceptance letter and scholarship. I have ambitions and achieving them is very important to me. I have tried to be very involved at Texas Tech, in terms of extracurriculars. I enjoy meeting new people and making memories. 

If I could go back in time to my first semester, I would tell myself to put myself out there, and explore campus life more. Being in college was a completely new experience for me and it seemed intimidating at times. But when I put myself out there and started getting involved in clubs and other university sponsored events, I appreciated all the aspects of campus and learnt to use its many resources more!
