When does TLI meet?

Students admitted to the TLI program will meet for eight weeks on Tuesday evenings from 5:30 to 7:30 PM, beginning February 24 and concluding on April 21, 2026, with a pause during Spring Break. Each weekly session will focus on a different topic and will include a mix of discussions led by Peer Mentors, interactive activities, and opportunities for engagement in both small and large group settings.

Who can apply to TLI?

All undergraduate students in their first year at Texas Tech, including new transfer students, are eligible to apply.

What will I gain from TLI?

Students who participate in TLI will gain skills that benefit them during their time at Texas Tech and in their future.

How do I apply?

All TLI applications are due by Sunday, February  8, 2026 at 11:59 PM.
