Q: I am receiving an error when trying to register, what do I do?

CAMPUS RESTRICTION: You have picked a section reserved for distance-education students only. Pick a different section, and no we cannot override this for you.

FIELD OF STUDY RESTRICTION: You have picked a section reserved for students within that specific major only. Pick a different section, and no we cannot override this for you.

LINKED COURSE REQUIRED: You did not add the required lab/discussion. Remove the lecture and re-add the lecture AND lab at the same time using the "ADD ALL" button.

PRE-REQUISITE OR TEST SCORE ERROR: You do not have the pre-requisite course or test score to enroll in that class. Please contact that department that offers the class for more information.

Q: Where do I check for holds?

A: login to your Raiderlink and go to your TTU MyTech tab, click on Registration, then down to Registration Status (Dates and Holds). or follow this link Registration Status

 

Q: I have a hold, what do I do?

A: First check to see who the hold is from. Only the office who placed the hold can remove it. i.e. SBS holds must be removed by Student Business Services or BIOL holds can only be removed by the Biology Department.

 

Q: Am I required to meet with my advisor?

A: Yes, your advisor will place a hold on your account every semester. Check you TTU email for details, you will receive information if you are not required to meet.

 

Q: I want to minor in Biology or Health Professions, what should I do?

A: Students from other departments wishing to minor in Biology or Health Professions do not need an appointment. You can stop by during open office hours. If you're not in the College of Arts & Sciences bring all necessary forms required from your college.
