The Covenant BodyMind Initiative (CBMI) is committed to developing and improving resilience, promoting and empowering self-care, and educating and supporting wellness in youth by providing experiential school activities, family resources, and community involvement.
This is a comprehensive approach to wellness that looks at the whole child. The curricula address not only the physical health concepts of nutrition and physical activity, but also address the student's social/emotional well-being. The curricula includes Comprehensive Wellness l and Comprehensive Wellness ll , Texas Education Agency approved Innovative Courses for semester credit, a 16 week lesson module to enhance any existing classroom program, and a module that focuses on at-risk youth.
