Howard Mori, Ph.D.

Dr. Mori earned a master’s and Ph.D. in Library and Information Science and a second master’s in Multicultural Marketng and Professional Communication from Florida State University. For over 25 years, Dr. Mori has served as an academic librarian at various universities and as a professor in Library and Information Science programs. He has published articles and book chapters on library services and information-seeking practices and presented the results and insights from community-engaged service and research projects at more than 50 national and international conferences. In 2019 Dr. Mori retired from Florida State University and came to Texas Tech University to develop a new library and related information services for the School of Veterinary Medicine in Amarillo, TX, where he currently teaches for the One Health Graduate Program. His Inquiry, Innovation, and Innovation course allows graduate veterinary and medical research students to explore innovation commercialization alternatives centered on their research interests and related industries.
